Exhibition venue
Based on the concept of a house that blends in with the Kyoto townscape on the outside but feels like a "treasure" when you enter it, architect Ryue Nishizawa created this office and salon for the TOMORROW with craftsmen while confronting the traditions of the Kyoto townhouse, as curator Kayo Tokuda had hoped. Normally closed to the public, it is open to the public only when special exhibitions are held.
