This project encompasses three locations and exhibitions, food, a market, and a library, which together help envision a future lifestyle as seen through the local climate, history, and industry.      

 

In Special Exhibition I, based around the word “pray,” a ritual yashiro, a shrine, and a place of prayer will be created at Takano Shrine, which is over 2,000 years old.  

In Special Exhibition II, Taiza Studio will be the site of a comprehensive artistic approach to the “future” of crafts and art rooted in the Japanese climate.  

In Special Exhibition III, Kinosaki Onsen Mikiya, a Japanese inn that has fostered culture for 300 years, will introduce the "connection of the land" through history and culture by way of architecture and art.        

 

During the exhibition, architects and chefs will rediscover the culinary culture of the region and work together to discover the joy of eating at the Food Festival, a market where the traditional crafts of Kyotango are displayed and sold in a modern setting, and a library where visitors can learn more about the history, culture, and charm of the region.
